FAQs

If you have any questions that are not answered here, please contact Brittney and Shane.
Question

Masks?

Answer

While things are looking better and vaccines are more widely available, we understand that people have different levels of comfort when it comes to being in large groups. While it’s not a requirement for our wedding, we completely support and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day. We do not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable or unsafe. We fully understand and support whatever decisions you make in order to keep yourself healthy and safe.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put your cameras and phones away during the ceremony. We have hired an AMAZING photographer to capture the moment for us. We will be sure to share those pictures with you. After the ceremony we absolutely encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you include our hashtag #NiceToBeNeises in your posts!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP at your earliest convince, or before June 4th. You can RSVP under the "RSVP" tab of this website. If you have any issues, please contact Brittney and Shane.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When you RSVP there is a place you can let us know of any dietary restrictions you would like us to accommodate.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love you and your kids! Due to the number of loved ones that we have, we are not able to accommodate all of the kids in our lives. When you go to RSVP you will see the number of seats that have been reserved for you. If you are looking to have a night away from the kids, but still be close, The Abbey has a childcare center that is open until 11pm. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Brittney and Shane.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear what makes you comfortable and won't hinder your performance on the dance floor. With that being said, we suggest saving your jorts (jean-shorts) and cut offs for your 4th of July celebrations. In all seriousness, the dress code is anywhere between semi-formal, cocktail, and formal. The ceremony will be outside with the reception following indoors. July in Wisconsin can be pretty warm and there is always a possibility of rain. We will be keeping a close eye on the weather.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. Please arrive a few minutes early to find your seat.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we’ve created an online registry that is posted on this website under the "Registry" tab. We have also registered at Target.
