Things To Do

We've compiled a list of some of our favorite places in the area if you find yourself with some time to explore!

Fort Monroe

Monroe, VA 23651

This historic fort includes the Casemate Museum (30 Ingalls Rd), waterside restaurants, shops, historic churches, beautiful architecture, a boardwalk by the beach, and plenty of places to walk. If you love history or walks by the beach, you will find your time filled here.

Buckroe Beach and Park

100 South First Street, Hampton, VA 23664

Although too cold for swimming in October, Buckroe Beach is another beautiful boardwalk location for a relaxing stroll by the coast.

Virginia Air & Space Science Center

600 Settlers Landing Road, Hampton, VA 23669

This fascinating location is full of interactive and educational exhibits and is located in downtown Hampton, where you can walk by the marina and down string-lit avenues.

Peninsula Town Center

2551 McMenamin Street, Hampton, VA 23666

For those who enjoy shopping, the Peninsula Town Center is a great day-time activity. Restaurants, shops, playgrounds, bookstores, and big-name stores are all accessible in this area.

Persnickety Crane Cafe

209 Village Avenue, Yorktown, VA 23693

Located in Yorktown and filled with natural lighting and cozy vibes (not to mention great food and beverages), this is a favorited spot to chat and unwind. Also kid friendly!

Kung Fu Tea - Hampton VA

2040 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, VA 23666

Lastly, for the bubble tea lovers. This was also one of our first date locations, so it holds good memories!

For all the days along the way
