Where is the wedding taking place?

The ceremony and reception will be held at Vezalay Mountain Venue, 520 Hwy 52 W Dahlonega, GA 30533. The ceremony will take place in the chapel onsite, so please head there upon arrival.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guest arrival begins at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 4:45 PM to ensure everyone is seated before the ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM. Any late guests will be asked to wait to join the festivities until cocktail hour.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors in the chapel, followed by an outside cocktail hour on the patio. The reception will be inside the event center, and dancing will be outside on the patio.

Semi-formal attire is requested.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to venue capacity, we are asking that only guests listed on the invitation attend our wedding.

We love your little ones, but our wedding is an adults-only celebration.

We will do our best to accommodate all dietary restrictions. Please let us know when you RSVP of any allergies or restrictions you may have.

Yes, the drinks are on us! We only ask that guests drink maturely and responsibly.

Yes, an off-duty police officer will be present to ensure the safety of our guests.

What conduct is prohibited by guests at the venue?

Answer

Per venue policy, use of vapes, e-cigarettes, and illegal drugs (including cannabis) is strictly prohibited on ceremony sites and indoors. Although the venue permits cigarette or cigar smoking outdoors within designated areas of the property, we encourage guests to enjoy a smoke-free evening. Swimming or playing in the pond is also prohibited by the venue.

The parking lot is located near the venue's entrance and event spaces. There is ample parking for guests, and no parking fee or valet service.

No, transportation is not provided.

Is the venue accessible for guests with mobility aids?

Answer

Yes! The chapel and event center are single-story buildings, and the venue features paved routes and ramps, making the area accessible for any guests using mobility aids. Please note that although the event spaces are paved, the parking lot is unpaved.
