Bride
Jessi is the bride, a stunning woman with an impeccable sense of style and a creative flair (just check the website if you need any more convincing 😉). Patrick somehow managed to find this rare gem during the pandemic, and he still can’t believe his luck that she tolerates his occasional bouts of stubbornness. Patrick adores her to the moon and back, more than any overused cliché can fully capture, and he’ll always love her "two times too."
Groom
Patrick is the groom. Jessi and Patrick first met on Hinge in October 2020, and they were so smitten that they deleted the app right after their back-to-back first and second dates. Jessi will tell you Patrick is a 10/10 on the dating scale (and the handsome scale 😉) and highly recommend him—but since she's the last one to date him, you’ll just have to take her word for it. Trust her, though; she's clearly got great taste!
Maid of Honor
Taylor is the bride’s sister. They first met when Jessi came home from the hospital, but their real friendship kicked in when Jessi turned 18—just when Taylor decided Jessi was worth knowing. Since then, they’ve been inseparable sharing everything from questionable fashion choices to late-night Taco Bell trips, proving that sisterly love means endless teasing and a lifetime of “I told you so” moments.
Bridesmaid
Emily is the bride’s sister-in-law. She and Jessi first bonded when Alex brought her home, and they instantly connected over their love for gifting the same bottle of Apothic Red wine back and forth. Their friendship has been as smooth as their favorite bottle ever since—cheers to that!
Bridesmaid
Carly is the bride's god-sister. Carly and Jessi met as babies—born just a month apart (seriously, November 9th and December 9th). They’ve been as close as sisters ever since, surviving middle school scene phases and high school band nerd moments together. If that’s not a family bond, I don’t know what is—unless it’s quoting Pitch Perfect lines or singing Wicked songs in perfect (ish) harmony.
Officiant
Alex is the bride’s brother. He and Jessi first crossed paths when Jessi came home from the hospital—talk about an early introduction. But their friendship really took off when Jessi started working for his marching band. At first, Alex might have been a bit skeptical, but he quickly had to admit she was pretty cool, despite her habit of stealing the spotlight (i.e. microphone). Their bond proves that sometimes, it takes a bit of forced interaction to realize just how awesome your sister can be.
Flower Girl
Jorge is the flower boy and ring bearer—and the bride’s brother-in-law! He and Jessi hit it off when she visited Taylor in Houston and bonded when he bought her a tequila shot for her 21st birthday. (He also proposed to Taylor the next day, but that’s a minor detail.) Since then, they’ve been besties, proving nothing says "welcome to the family" like a tequila shot and the wedding gig of keeping rings and petals in check.
Best Man
Matthew and Patrick have been best friends for over a decade and met while they were in middle school. Matt and Pat first bonded over metal music, video games, and the best way to sneak around his parents' suffocating rules, which included, but was not limited to, recruiting Sue (Pat's mom) to lie on his behalf about Derek being at hangouts. They've since helped one another through the high highs and low lows that both their lives have brought them.
Groomsman
Brock and Patrick met in 2016 while working at the same insurance company. Brock and Patrick have remained close over the years, even leaving and switching employers around the same time (Patrick recruited Brock). Brock and Patrick were workout buddies for years until he moved to Yellowstone; Brock had the honor of naming Patrick's garage gym as "Pat's Phitness Center." In return, Patrick had the honor of officiating Brock's wedding.
Groomsman
Derek and Patrick met in 1st Grade at Florence Elementary School, and they have remained close friends ever since. From running into each other at Animal Kingdom when they were in first grade during Christmas break, to Patrick officiating Derek's wedding, to the weekly tabletop Pathfinder games Derek runs for the group, they've found their lives ever interwoven.
Groomsman
Adam and Patrick met in high school, but their deep and meaningful connection only blossomed in 2010 after Patrick finally managed to escape the educational prison, where they bonded over their mutual love of Borderlands, their incessant whining about Star Wars, and their shared appreciation for humor so absurd it could only be considered elite. Because obviously, nothing says lifelong friendship like griping about movies and playing video games together.
Groomsman
Aaron and Patrick met in middle school and became close later on in high school. Aaron and Patrick bonded over metal music and have gone to many concerts near and far together. Aaron is currently career transitioning to becoming a financial advisor so he can make Patrick and Jessi lots of money through smart investments.
