Garden Party Formal is the requested dress code for the wedding. Please do not wear jeans or short dresses. Dresses are welcome to be floor-length or tea-length, and suits in cooler fabrics like linen or cotton are welcome! We do ask that you refrain from wearing black! If you have any concerns about your outfit, feel free to reach out to the bride!
Black-tie optional, or outdoor formal, may sound like an oxymoron, but just because an event is happening outside doesn’t necessarily make it laid-back and casual. While you have a bit more freedom to play with colors and prints during fancy outdoor affairs like beach weddings and garden parties, you should still avoid looking informal and steer clear of short dresses. Stick with loose flowy options that will keep you cool in the sun, and avoid sinking in the grass or sand by adding height with wedges or block heels. No! You can book your own accommodation if you prefer more privacy or flexibility. If you choose this route just let the bride and groom know!
No, but please let the bride and groom know as we will be booking events with the assumption that everyone attending the wedding wants to be involved.
