We would like our special day to be an adults-only wedding. We encourage you to take the night off and leave the little ones at home.
Due to budget and space limitations, we can only accommodate those guests formally listed on your wedding invitation who have RSVPed.
We request our guests dress in "semi-formal" attire. Please refrain from wearing jeans, sports attire, or other casual themes.
Yes! Please see the "travel" tab on our website for hotels available in the area. We will also have a room block and shuttle service to and from the wedding at the Hampton Inn & Suites Culpeper. The last day to book in our room block will be September 16, 2026.
The wedding will take place outdoors, while the reception will take place both in and outdoors.
Yes, we will offer a shuttle service that will depart promptly at 3:45 PM from the Hampton Inn & Suites Culpeper to take guests to Rixey Manor ahead of the ceremony. Even if you do not plan to stay at the hotel, we highly encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle service as parking at the venue is very limited and reserved only for vendors, wedding party and close family. At the end of the night, we will also provide shuttle service. One shuttle will make an earlier return trip from the venue for guests who prefer not to stay until the end of the evening, while the final shuttle will depart at 10:00 PM.

Yes, appetizers at cocktail hour and entree options for the reception will include vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and special diet options. Please note your dietary needs in your RSVP so we can ensure you receive the right entree.
