We're Getting Married!

We met in the most 21st century way...online! Our first date was at an adult mini golf bar in DC, and the rest is history. Justin bet that if he won the round, he could give Katie a kiss. Never one to back down from a challenge and some light-hearted competition, Katie was game. Justin won that night, but more importantly, we ended up talking until the bar closed. Somewhere between the laughs and the last putt, we realized there was something there that we had to keep exploring. It just felt right—and we’ve been inseparable ever since. As our love grew, we moved into an apartment together and brought home Remi, our rescue dog. He's endlessly sweet, a little quirky, and has taught us a lot about patience and what it means to be a family. Travel quickly become one of our favorite things to do together—whether it be our first trip together to Florida (where we went to the wrong airport and nearly missed our flight!), spontaneous trips to San Diego...4 times, or our now-almost annual friends' trip to the Outer Banks for the 4th of July. Wherever we go, we never run out of ways to have fun when we’re together. Then on January 15, 2025, on a cruise with a stop in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Justin asked Katie to marry him. We cannot wait to celebrate our wedding day surrounded by the friends and family who've supported and cheered us on every step of the way. - J & K
