Answer

Please RSVP by April, 2026!

Question

What is the best way to get to Miranda?

Answer

For those driving from Humboldt or the Bay Area, it is pretty simple; driving is the best and most efficient option. For folks who plan to fly in, you have two options. First, you can fly into SFO and rent a car from there, which is roughly a 4-5 hour drive depending on your pace. The second option is to get a flight into the ACV airport in McKinleyville, CA, and rent a car from there. The drive from McKinleyville to Miranda is about an hour and a half. The important thing to weigh is that flights into McKinleyville can be prone to delays or cancellations, especially for inbound flights. If the weather cooperates, flying into McKinleyville and driving from there will be more convenient, but flying into SFO and driving from the Bay will be more reliable and perhaps cheaper. For what it's worth, the drive up from the Bay is an exceptional one and you'll be able to experience the transition into the redwoods firsthand.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30, so please arrive with plenty of time to settle into your seat. If you're driving from your accommodations, please consider your drive time and time for parking. If you arrive late, you'll be given a cone of shame to wear in all photography.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you're staying off-site, please plan to drive yourself or carpool. There's no reliable transportation, including rideshares.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, you should be able to find parking without issue. Please don't turn into the actual venue! If there are no spots on the street in front of the venue, you should be able to park at the high school across the street.
