We crossed paths countless times, never realizing what the future had in store. But college became the start of something new. It was at Mercer that we became friends, and over time, that friendship turned into something more.

Somewhere between taking care of Atlas, going on walks, and spending more time together, things just clicked—and it’s been the three of us ever since. 

After graduation, we ended up in different states—Payal stayed in Georgia for medical school, and Arjun moved to Kentucky for dental school. Long distance hasn’t always been easy, but we’ve made it work through FaceTime study sessions, weekend visits, and a lot of support.

In December 2023, we got engaged surrounded by our closest family and friends. Now, we’re counting down to June 2025 and can’t wait to start this next chapter together.
