What is the dress code for the wedding events?What is the dress code for the wedding events?

Answer

Grah Shanti & Mehndi: Traditional Indian attire is encouraged, such as kurtas or sherwanis for men, and saris, lehengas, or cholis for women. Garba: Traditional Indian attire like kurtas for men and lehengas or cholis for women. Wedding Ceremony: Traditional Indian wear, such as kurtas, sherwanis, saris, or lehengas, is encouraged. Western formal attire is also welcomed for guest unfamiliar with Indian attire (e.g., suits, formal dresses). Reception: Lehengas, saris, Western formal dresses for women, and suits for men. Black tie attire is also welcome for a more formal touch.

We recommend arriving on time, refer to the details on the invitations or schedule section on our wedding website.

Yes! We have a list of recommended hotels near the venue for your convenience. Links will be posted on the website as the date gets closer. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding accommodation.

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the venue. Where do I park for the mandir events? There are two parking lots on the mandir property, and you’re welcome to park in either one. Where do I park for the reception? There is street parking available throughout downtown. There’s also a parking garage a few blocks away from the venue. I’ll update this page with the parking garage address as the date gets closer.

Yes! We have planned a delicious spread of vegetarian Indian cuisine for all the events.

Don’t worry! We’ve designed this celebration to be welcoming for everyone. Our families will be there to guide you through the customs, and we’ll ensure you feel comfortable and included. Please feel free to ask us or any of our family members or wedding planners if you have any questions during the events.

Yes, we plan to live stream the ceremony for those who can’t attend in person. Details on how to access the stream will be shared closer to the date.
