The hotel is simple and cost-effective, and several of the buildings on property were recently renovated. While located slightly outside of city centre, it's conveniently located just miles from downtown Santa Cruz and the beach. The Inn also features a pool and on-site bar and grill.

Hotel Paradox is our favorite local hotel, with a newly renovated bar are and unique themes in art and decor throughout the property. Paradox has an awesome pool and hot tub, with a beautiful bar and restaurant onsite. This hotel is less than 10 minutes from the Hollins House. Babbling Brook Inn is just a 17-minute stroll through charming neighborhoods lined with Victorian-era homes to downtown Santa Cruz where you will find noted Santa Cruz restaurants, museums, and shops.

The sister hotel to the Babbling Brook Inn, The Inn at Depot Hill is a charming and luxurious bed and breakfast located in Capitola, a smaller coastal town located about 10 - 15 minutes from the Hollins House. The Inn at Depot Hill features individually-themed guest rooms that are decorated in the style of famous travel destinations. Depending on the room you choose the Inn can be a bit pricier than other options in town, but the amenities will make your stay special - some rooms are available with a fireplace, outdoor tub, or private terrace. This was one of my mom's favorite places to stay!

1. Follow CA-17 S out of San Jose toward Santa Cruz. 2. Take exit 1C toward Pasatiempo Drive. 3. Turn right onto Pasatiempo Drive. 4. Continue straight onto Clubhouse Road and the Hollins House will be on your right side.

Continue straight onto Clubhouse Road and the Hollins House will be on your right side.
