Try tacos al pastor! If you are adventurous, the tacos de lengua are delicious too (tongue tacos). This is my favorite taco place.

Chilaquiles are a traditional mexican breakfast with fried corn tortillas, tomato sauce, cream and cheese.

Kitsch style, gourmet fusion (Asian, Mexican and Mediterranean) dinner restaurant. It is popular so you need reservations.

A mexican restaurant specialized in "salsas" and steak. They will have traditional dancers in a beautiful open space.

A healthier, tastier alternative to sodas, these are fresh-fruit based drinks. What is your favorite tropical fruit? They have a drink made out of that.

El Farallón de Tepic

This is a seafood place. I recommend pescado zarandeado (grilled fish) or camarones a la diabla (spicy cheesy shrimp)

Erizo Cocina de Mar

The place to get ceviche, shrimp cocktails and tostadas. Seafood only restaurant.

Cenaduría Doña Guille

Wondering where the locals eat? This is it. I've had everything here, literally everything. I like it all. My recommendation? It's so cheap you might as well. My favorite things are pozole, enchiladas and tostadas. Most of the food is fried. Open Monday to Saturday 6pm to 11pm
