Viva Guadalajara!

We are excited to share some of our favorite things to do in Guadalajara with you!

Arena Coliseo

67 Calle Federico Medrano, Guadalajara, Jal. 44100, Mexico
, 01 33 3617 3401

So you want lucha libre? More than the lucha libre (a type of wrestling), this is about having fun, screaming and making fun of people. That's right, we know how to have fun. Tuesdays at 6pm and Sundays at 8pm. Tickets through: http://www.ticketmaster.com.mx/Arena-Coliseo-de-Guadalajara-boletos-Guadalajara/venue/164818?lang=en-mx

Tacos Providencia

534 Avenida Rubén Darío, Guadalajara, Jal. 44657, Mexico
, 01 33 1828 1313

Try tacos al pastor! If you are adventurous, the tacos de lengua are delicious too (tongue tacos). This is my favorite taco place.

Tortas Toño

3160-2 Tierra de Fuego, Guadalajara, Jal. 44630, Mexico
, 01 33 3642 8739

A traditional sauce bathed sub or torta, try it for breakfast or lunch.

Los Chilaquiles Patria

1484 Avenida de la Patria, Zapopan, Jal. 45110, Mexico
, 01 33 3610 2623

Chilaquiles are a traditional mexican breakfast with fried corn tortillas, tomato sauce, cream and cheese.

I Latina

3128 Avenida Inglaterra, Guadalajara, Jal. 44110, Mexico
, 01 33 3647 7774

Kitsch style, gourmet fusion (Asian, Mexican and Mediterranean) dinner restaurant. It is popular so you need reservations.

Santo Coyote

2379 Calle Miguel Lerdo de Tejada, Guadalajara, Jal. 44150, Mexico
, 01 33 3616 8472

A mexican restaurant specialized in "salsas" and steak. They will have traditional dancers in a beautiful open space.

La Tequila Cocina Mexicana

Guadalajara, JAL 44600, Mexico
, 01 33 3640 3440

Traditional Mexican food.

Aguas Frescas Chaplin

690 Calle Luis Pérez Verdía, Guadalajara, Jal. 44600, Mexico
, 01 33 2001 0997

A healthier, tastier alternative to sodas, these are fresh-fruit based drinks. What is your favorite tropical fruit? They have a drink made out of that.

El Farallón de Tepic

560 Avenida Niño Obrero, Zapopan, Jal. 45040, Mexico
, 01 33 3121 9616

This is a seafood place. I recommend pescado zarandeado (grilled fish) or camarones a la diabla (spicy cheesy shrimp)

Erizo Cocina de Mar

1565 Calle Pedro Moreno, Guadalajara, Jal. 44160, Mexico
, 01 33 4444 7995

The place to get ceviche, shrimp cocktails and tostadas. Seafood only restaurant.

Cenaduría Doña Guille

Wondering where the locals eat? This is it. I've had everything here, literally everything. I like it all. My recommendation? It's so cheap you might as well. My favorite things are pozole, enchiladas and tostadas. Most of the food is fried. Open Monday to Saturday 6pm to 11pm
