Question

So...there's a global pandemic happening. How are you adjusting for that?

Answer

We want to make sure everyone is able to celebrate comfortably and safely; the health of our friends and family is so important to us! The wedding ceremony is outdoor and mask optional. We are monitoring the recommendations from the CDC and working with our venue to put extra accommodations in place, and if cases are still at a certain threshold, we will likely end up making the reception outdoor as well. Luckily, our dinner (seated) and appetizer (passed) formats are already pandemic friendly. If you need any help or guidance navigating travel or accommodations in Charleston, we're here to help. We hope you can still join us to celebrate even with this unique situation!

Question

Transportation: How will I get around?

Answer

While traffic can sometimes be a challenge, Charleston is luckily very easy to get around! You can spend an entire day leisurely strolling through the historic streets of the peninsula. Lyft and Uber service all of Charleston. You'll also notice the Charleston water taxi, bike taxis (and traditional taxis), as well as bikes, as great options for seeing town. Many of the hotels have shuttles that run from the airport. There will be a shuttle for transportation to and from the wedding location. More information TBA.

Question

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love little ones, our ceremony and reception is adult-only. We have friends in Charleston with sitters at the ready, just let us know! Or, this professional service is well known and reviewed in Charleston. https://www.yourhappynest.com/
