On Friday May 27th, we will host a casual welcome event with light bites and beverages at the Caribe Hilton Hotel. Stop by anytime between the hours of 5-7pm to spend some quality time before the wedding or even for a quick hello! We will also host a post-wedding brunch on Sunday May 29th at the Caribe Hilton from 10:00am-12:00pm. Come enjoy a hot breakfast buffet overlooking the ocean to start your Sunday morning right.
Send an email to our wedding coordinator Liliana Albizu at rsvp@handcraftedweds.com. Please indicate the following: who will attend, which events (welcome event, wedding, brunch) and the meal choice for the wedding.
There will be a main dish consisting of beef, fish (mahi-mahi) or a vegetarian option. Please provide the selection for each person attending when sending the RSVP email.
Please let us know of allergies or dietary restrictions as soon as possible and we will accommodate as much as we can! There will be no pork served at any events.
Black-tie optional and formal desi wear. Tuxedos and gowns are encouraged, but given that most people are traveling, dark suits are welcome. Whatever you decide to wear, make sure you feel comfortable dancing in it! The ceremony will take place in the outdoor garden area of the museum, however no grassy lawn. There will be fans set up to keep it breezy outdoors. The reception will take place indoor with air conditioning.
There will be transportation provided to and from the museum for those staying at the Caribe Hilton. Pick up at 3:30pm and drop-off back to the hotel at the end of the wedding reception.
Yes, the museum has an indoor parking lot that will be available for a fee.
The wedding party will be staying at the Caribe Hilton Hotel, where other wedding related events will take place. However, there are many good hotel and Airbnb options in the area. We do recommend you stay close to the wedding venue because traffic in Puerto Rico can be unpredictable. Check out the "travel" section of our website for more specific information!
Those of you visiting from the US will not need a passport or visa. The currency is the US dollar. Those of you traveling from abroad should check entry requirements for the United States.
