We met at our college friend's housewarming party in Manhattan about two years after graduating. It all began with friendly conversation and ended with a night out dancing. Although Faaez did not know how to dance to Latin music, he followed my lead and we had an amazing time! The rest is history...

Faaez and I went on a trip to Morocco early March of 2020. During a sunset camel ride across the Sahara, Faaez had someone "take a picture" of us on the sand dunes. Barefoot on the dunes, he got down on one knee and proposed! I immediately said "yes!" and was on cloud nine for the rest of our shortened trip. Two days later, Morocco announced its border closure due to the news of a global COVID pandemic. After many calls and emails to the US embassy, we managed to get on the last flight out. Needless to say, it was a most memorable engagement! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Puerto Rico!
