Driving Information
DRIVING TO LEAVENWORTH: UPDATE: Stevens Pass is/will be CLOSED between Skykomish and Leavenworth. If you’re driving from Seattle: NEW Primary route - take I-90 + US-97 over Blewett Pass: GOOGLE MAP LINK NEW Backup route - If for any reason Blewett Pass is closed, you’ll want to take this alternate route via Quincy WA - ALTERNATE ROUTE MAP LINK Please build extra time and check conditions in the days before as well as right before you leave - CURRENT WSDOT CONDITIONS MAP: https://wsdot.com/Travel/Real-time/Map/ Driving through the mountain passes in winter can be unpredictable! (~2.5 hrs from Seattle minimum; traffic & weather depending). (Helpful apps available on the App Store: WSDOT and Washington Road Conditions)
Train
AMTRAK Empire Builder and the Leavenworth Shuttle
All aboard the Polar Express! Train (Amtrak Empire Builder NOT NOT Amtrak Cascade) 1 train daily each way between Seattle King Street Station and Leavenworth Icicle Station (~3.5 hrs). Seattle → Leavenworth: 4:55 pm depart • 8:17 pm arrive Leavenworth → Seattle: 7:18 am depart • 11:20 am arrive $94 round trip ($47 one way) Travel time from Seattle is about 3.5 hours. ____________________________________________ Shuttle from the Leavenworth Icicle Station: After arriving in Leavenworth, you’ll need to arrange for transportation. The train station is about a five-minute drive away from downtown Leavenworth where you can stay at a variety of accommodations and walk to restaurants and the Waterfront Park. The train station is about a 15 minute drive to the Sleeping Lady resort where the wedding will take place. We recommend coordinating a ride with Leavenworth Shuttle (you can prebook online or call - link and phone number below). Lyft and Uber drivers are limited in the area, and may not be available. https://www.leavenworthshuttle.com/icicle-station leavenworthshuttle.com 509-548-7433 The fare is $11 per person each way within the city limits. They have numerous passengers during the holiday seasons and having their drivers process credit cards can be very time consuming. In order to make your travel experience better, we ask that you have cash available for day of service. The Shuttle can be used for general transportation to and from the Sleeping Lady throughout the weekend festivities. Please call or book online as needed.

Airport Options to Train Station
Flying into SEA (Sea-Tac) → Train When arriving in Seattle, please allow time to take an UBER or the LIGHT RAIL into the Seattle King Street Amtrak Station in time to buy tickets (best to purchase ahead of time) and board the only Leavenworth departure train at 4:55pm daily.
Flight
Fly to Wenatchee (Pangborn Memorial Airport, EAT)
Fly (a quick 50 minute flight from Seattle → Wenatchee): Wenatchee (Pangborn Memorial Airport, EAT). From Wenatchee it’s a ~40 minute drive to Leavenworth (plan for longer w/ snow), and there are several rental car options at the airport.

Greyhound Bus Service to Leavenworth: The travel time from Seattle to Leavenworth /Peshastin by bus is approximately 2 hours 35 minutes, covering a distance of about 131 miles. Bus tickets from Seattle to Leavenworth start at $71.99. To get the best deals, book your tickets in advance through the app or website. There are several Greyhound buses operating daily from Seattle to Leavenworth /Peshastin. Check the schedule by entering your travel date in the search box at the link above.
