Travel
From Sacramento Airport:
Highway 80 east to Highway 49. Highway 49 is the main highway that goes directly through Nevada City.
From Nevada City stay on Highway 49 as it will take you right to Downieville. Please Note that once you leave Nevada City on your way to Downieville there is little to no cell phone reception until you get to Downieville. Your last stops for gas will be in Nevada City and also North San Juan (25m outside of Nevada City on the way to Downieville).
Accommodations:
As we have already informed everybody, you will stay at the Sierra Shangri La in one of the cottages or in Downieville at the Carriage Inn.
For the guests staying at the Shangri La - please wait until we call to tell you to pay the deposit for your cabin.
Whoever stays at the Carriage Inn will call by themselves and book a room (24-26th of October).
