Question

Can I bring other family members?

Answer

We love you all, and as much as we would love to celebrate with everyone, regretfully, due to limited seating arrangements, invitations are limited to specified guests only. We appreciate your support and appreciation of our union. We are only able to accommodate guests named on the invitations.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please check your invite for invitations for the little ones! We will only be having our closest friends and family bringing their kids along. We understand if this might impact your decision to attend, so please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

March in Honolulu is right at the tail end of the rainy season. The weather is warm (on average 18-26°C / 65-79°F) and beach friendly, but don't be surprised to be caught in a rainshower. The wedding venue is at the foothills of a mountain range so there may be some light rain on the event day. Pack summer clothes, swim suits, SPF & sunnies, and maybe a hoodie or two for cooler evenings. If you venture out to the other islands (Big Island, Maui) and do any of the mountain-y activities, bring warmer attire.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

We will be providing transportation to the ceremony venue on the day of the event. Look out for that info under the Travel & Stay tab when it's available. If you wish to drive yourselves, there is plenty of parking available at the site. We will update the Travel & Stay tab with specific instructions.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please see the Schedule tab for specific dress codes. Shivani and Paul will mostly be dressed in traditional Indian clothing and we welcome anyone else that would like to wear traditional Indian clothing. The bride kindly requests that you please avoid shades of light purple/lilac/lavender

Question

Where can I buy Indian formal wear?

Answer

Here are a few online stores that may be helpful! Brampton: Shivani's Mom's store! Message her at https://www.facebook.com/ZariAndSilk US/Canada-based: www.thesareeroom.com www.lashkaraa.com www.asos.com/us (search for "lehenga", or "saree") www.shopkynah.com www.harleenkaur.us International (with US/Canada shipping): www.perniaspopupshop.com www.kalkifashion.com www.indiaspopup.com www.panashindia.com www.houseofindya.com Indian Jewellery: www.blossomboxjewelry.com

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Thank you for thinking of us! Your warm wishes and presence at our wedding are present enough, but if you are stubborn and choose to give, we would be honored by a small contribution to our future home fund. The link is available in the Registry tab. We are fortunate enough to already have everything we need for our home, so we kindly request no boxed gifts.
