Melaina is Melora's younger sister, so they have known each other since Melaina was born! Fun fact, when Melora first found out she was going to be a big sister, she cried and cried and cried because she wanted to stay an only child. After a few years of fighting, they wouldn't trade each other for the world! Please enjoy this throw back picture of them, picture taking isn't something they do that often!
Ashley Nudell

Melora met Ashley during their sophomore year of college in their college sewing class. Ashley actually helped Melora out after Melora had a sewing machine accident on the first day of class! Ashley has become a great friend and resource to Melora as she also teaches FACS. Melora had the honor of standing by Ashley on her big day, June 12th 2020 and now Ashley is going to return the favor on her first wedding anniversary!
Alexa Tate

Melora first met Alexa on the first day of 8th grade when her lunch table decided to sit with the "new girl" at lunch. Melora was the "new girl" in 6th grade year so she knew how it felt and wanted to be welcoming. What she didn't know then was she was sitting down next to someone who would become one of her closest friends for life! Please enjoy a throwback picture of them from their senior year of high school on toga day. Pretty soon they can replace this picture with one in better dresses!
Mike Gruneich
Best Man
Paul first met Mike when he was a young, 17 year old, high school student who got a summer job working construction for M&M Drywall in Napoleon, ND. Mike took Paul under his wing and taught him everything he now knows about how to work construction. Fun fact, Mike spent the first couple of weeks struggling to remember Paul's name and decided he looked more like the cartoon, "Doug," and the nickname has stuck around since.
Zach Hilzendeger

Zach, Mike's youngest son, graduated two years ahead of Paul from Napoleon High School. Zach also worked for M&M Drywall with Mike and Paul. Zach and Paul have been great buddies since the construction days, staying involved in each other's lives. Zach's son Zander even calls Paul, "Uncle Doug" and is excited for his, "Uncle Doug" to marry his, "Aunt Melora."
John Nienhuis
Groomsman
John and Paul first met through classes at NDSU. The pair spend their time doing many different activities such as weightlifting at the NDSU fitness center, swimming at the new NDSU aquatics center, and attending church services on Sunday's. Traveling to John & Sarah's wedding in Colfax, ND was the first out-of-town trip Melora and Paul went on together! The picture Paul selected is a picture of John flying a plane! (Also, the only picture Paul has of John)
