Meg and I feel really lucky to have had such incredible supports in our lives and feel our wedding is a great way to share this kindness with those who are less fortunate. The programs we've chosen are both expanding quickly and can really use additional donation dollars to help them grow faster and reach more people.
Canopy Nepal, some may recognize from Meg's travels, is a program expanding educational opportunities to Nepali youth at high-risk for dropping out of high school. The other two options are some of GiveWell's top charities. New Incentives is addressing the large vaccination gap in Nigeria through an incentive program. Hellen Keller International is addressing vitamin A deficiency in several high-poverty countries throughout the world. All of these programs meet extremely high standards of research evidence, cost-effectiveness, and transparency.
