Things To Do

DC is so much more than National Monuments (though... we do really love them too!) DC is a reservation city. You don't always need a reservation at restaurants, but you're almost always better off having one (unless you're two people willing to sit at the bar). We expect many of you will go and check out the National Mall (as you should!). Take note that ON the Mall, you'll only find food trucks and public restrooms. Inside most Museums there are cafes. We listed a few restaurants close to the Mall. If you're looking for a tour, check out Viator.com, Getyourguide.com, or the hop-on-hop-off style tour at BigBusTours.com

Tiger Fork

Blagden Alley Northwest, Washington, DC 20001

A favorite of ours and appears on the Michelin Guide for DC. Upscale Chinese with apothecary inspired Cocktails. Make a reservation.

The Dabney

Le Diplomate

1601 14th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

One of the most popular (for good reason) restaurants in DC. Don't miss the steak frites at this Parisian inspired bistro! Make a reservation.

Old Ebbitt Grill

675 15th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20005

A DC classic since 1856, considered "the oldest salloon in Washington", Old Ebbitt is close to the White House and the National Mall and always a great spot for visitors!

Death & Co. D.C.

Death & Co has newly anointed DC and just opened this location right next to our venue. Reservations are booking up months in advance, but walk-ins are also available when possible.

Maydan

1346 Florida Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

Maydan is a favorite of ours - creative Middle-Eastern over an open fire with a Michelin star?? Yup!! Also happens to be about 100ft from Franklin Hall, our Thursday night meet up spot!

All-Purpose Shaw

1250 9th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20001

The National Mall (The Monuments)

Washington, DC

It's a classic for a reason. The Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial is about a 5 mile loop, so wear you're walking shoes! The area around the Washington Monument is typically lined with food trucks that sell snacks, ice cream, and refreshments. Otherwise, your option for food will be in the cafes inside the Smithsonian Museums (which line the mall between the Washington Monument and the Capitol).
