Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kate O’Driscoll and Paul Lonieski
We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite spots around Santorini. Whether you’re looking for great food, sunset views, or a place to grab a drink, here are some of our personal recommendations.

Oia Main Street Boutiques

Oia, 847 02, Greece

Wander through Oia’s main pedestrian path for beautiful boutiques, handmade jewelry, linen clothing, and unique Santorini keepsakes. The best shopping in Santorini is honestly just wandering and popping into the little shops along the way — perfect for an evening stroll with sunset views and the perfect Greece souvenir.

Όρμος Αμμούδι

Amoudi Bay, Greece

A must for seafood lovers. Tucked below Oia’s cliffs, Amoudi Bay offers fresh grilled fish, octopus, and waterfront dining with stunning sunset views. Reservations are highly recommended.

Fira

Fira, 847 00, Greece

Fira offers a wider mix of boutiques, jewelry stores, and souvenir shops. As you wander through town, you’ll also come across beautiful white churches and blue-domed rooftops, all set against stunning caldera views.

Skaros Rock

Imerovigli, 847 00, Greece

Trust us on this one — it’s worth the steps. A scenic cliffside walk with some of the most incredible views on the island. Perfect for sunset and photos if you’re feeling a little adventurous.

Niko's Place

Oia, 847 02, Greece

A great low-key gyro spot in Oia when you want something quick, easy, and tasty.

Santo Wines

Pyrgos Kallistis, 847 00, Greece

One of the best sunset views on the island. Perfect for a relaxed evening with a glass of local wine overlooking the caldera. Reservations are recommended for sunset.

Santorini Cable Car - Upper Station

10 Ipapantis, Thira, 847 00, Greece

Ride the cable car from Fira down to the Old Port for incredible caldera views. It’s a fun experience and a much easier option than walking the steep donkey trail.

Perissa Beach

Perissa, 847 03, Greece

One of Santorini’s famous black sand beaches. Great for a relaxed beach day with beach clubs, loungers, and plenty of seaside restaurants.

Kamari beach

Greece

A lively black sand beach with a long promenade lined with restaurants and cafés. Perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and an easy lunch by the water.

Red beach

Greece

A striking red-sand beach surrounded by dramatic volcanic cliffs. Worth a visit for the scenery alone — one of the most unique landscapes on the island.

Heart of Santorini

Fira, 847 00, Greece

A naturally formed heart-shaped opening in the cliffs overlooking the caldera. A beautiful (and very fitting) photo spot — especially at sunset.

Akrotiri

Fira, 847 00, Greece

An ancient Minoan city preserved in volcanic ash. A fascinating glimpse into Santorini’s history and an easy stop if you’re exploring the south side of the island.

PK Cocktail Bar

Ipapantis, Thira, 847 00, Greece

Rooftop cocktails with panoramic caldera views — perfect for sunset drinks before dinner.
