IS THERE PARKING FOR THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

Answer

Parking will be available at the venue. Carpooling is encouraged, but not necessary. The address for the venue is 280 Roaring Run Rd, Champion, PA 15622.

WHAT IS APPROPRIATE ATTIRE?

Answer

Semi-Formal Garden Attire, essentially meaning dress nicely, but comfortably. This is an outdoor summer wedding and you will be walking through grass and gravel, so dress lightweight with comfortable shoes. Stilettos are a risk and not recommended. If you opt to wear stilettos, we do recommend wearing Solemates heel protectors on your shoes. Sundresses, light skirts/blouses, flats, wedges, or thick heels are highly recommended for walking through grass and dancing. Shawls or sweaters recommended for when the sun goes down, as it may get cool in the mountains. Slacks and button downs, sports coats or lightweight summer suits optional. Floral patterns, stripes, bowties, suspenders, hats, and other fun accessories encouraged, but not mandatory.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY LODGING?

Answer

We encourage guests to book lodging ASAP, though there are many options for lodging in the area. We suggest Log Cabin Lodge and Suites, due to its close proximity to the venue (a 4 minute drive), its unique decor, and their cleaning regimen/updated policies to keep guests safe. We have also registered a block of rooms at Holiday Inn Express in Somerset, 25 minutes away. When you book your room, say you are booking in the block for Carr/Lombardo Wedding. Please note that these rooms are not guaranteed to be placed together and are first come, first serve. Refer to the "Accommodations" page on the website for more information.

Guests are welcome to bring children. Please make sure to include children on your RSVP.

We have a strict guest list for safety reasons.. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
