As of June 5th, Southwestern Pennsylvania entered the "green phase" of reopening, allowing for gatherings of up to 250 guests (putting our event in the clear). We are monitoring the available resources and will update if anything changes between now and July 25th. **Plans may have to change if restrictions tighten or if we feel a large gathering cannot be carried out safely, as your safety and health is our priority. ** We are lucky enough to have chosen a spacious, secluded, open air venue in a rural area for our nuptials, thus allowing for plenty of space and proper ventilation. The staff at Sanaview Farms has also assured us of their vigilant cleaning/sanitizing regimen and that there are new sanitizing stations available for guests in several locations. Together with the venue and our exceptional team of vendors, we are adjusting to make the event as safe and comfortable as possible. We expect all guests to follow CDC guidelines.

"We met when we were almost old, Caught between two closing doors. Fighting feelings seeping through The cracks in our hearts, both old and new..." On Sunday January 15, 2017, Paul and I both separately headed to the open mic at Pete's Candy Store in Brooklyn, guitars in tow. We had each of us gone to this particular open mic with some frequency, but somehow, we had never before gone on the same day. I was sitting in my usual spot in the vestibule between the bar and the theater, chatting with some fellow musicians, when suddenly, I felt something shift in the room. Someone new had entered the vestibule and before I even saw him, I felt drawn to him. I stole a quick glance at the tall, dark, and handsome man I now know to be Paul. Even now, I am taken by the gravity of Paul entering a room. "You and I talked for hours As we tried to describe what's inside. You say we're a garden of flowers. Babe, I say the same; I cannot lie." The next thing I knew, Paul was sitting next to me on the bench and we were talking and laughing as if we were old friends meeting again after a long time apart. Two hours into our conversation, we realized that we didn't know each others' names. It was a strange and wonderful encounter. We agreed to meet back at Pete's for the open mic the following week, and we did. That same day, we went on our first date, a week after that, I knew I loved him, soon after, Paul wrote "Sweet Juliana," and not long after that, I knew that we were going to be husband and wife. "Sweet Juliana, treat me kindly. Only you could make this fool fall so blindly." excerpts from "Sweet Juliana" by Paul Lombardo
