Denver's international airport is much larger than Colorado Springs. As a result airfare to/from Denver may be less if you choose to fly in/out of here. Denver airport is 1.5-2 hours from Colorado Springs, depending on traffic.

While the airport is smaller than Denver's, the drive into the Colorado Springs is only 10-15 minutes. Frontier airlines is expanding the number of direct flights into Colorado Springs, so make sure to check there first for cheap flights.
