Our journey began four years ago — miles apart but deeply connected. Through every video call, airport goodbye, and countdown to the next visit, our love only grew stronger. After heading to our separate duty stations, I may or may not have begged her to see me again.
Spoiler alert: she said yes — and four years, countless miles, and way too many FaceTimes later… here we are, finally together for good.
