Our Story If you asked us to explain how we met in one sentence, you probably wouldn’t believe us. Long before we realized it, our paths were already finding their way to each other. Before transferring into the architecture program at University at Buffalo, Diana had to take one last prerequisite art class at a community college back home in the Bronx. At the time, she was feeling a little behind after already spending two years in another program. On the first day of that tiny art class made up almost entirely of girls, one random guy walked in late. During the class, Diana overheard him mention that he was an architecture student at University at Buffalo, the exact school she had just gotten accepted into, eight hours away from home. So naturally, after class, Diana went up to him pretending she didn’t already know all of that information. What was supposed to be a quick conversation somehow turned into the realization that: We both were just accepted into the same architecture program, were both starting over after two years in another major and feeling discouraged, knew a lot of the same people, grew up just blocks away from each other, and somehow had the EXACT same class schedule. Like… every single class together. From there, we became inseparable best friends. We survived architecture school side by side: all-nighters, brutal critiques, stress, and tiny models breaking five minutes before presentations. Somehow, we made it through every storm together. And somewhere between studio and exams, friendship slowly turned into love. Looking back now, God was just waiting for the perfect moment to bring us together. Now, years later, we get to celebrate the life we’ve built together with all of our favorite people in one of our favorite places. And we truly can’t wait. 🤍
