Oh, yes, most definitely. The evening will start with reception drinks and Italian buffet, with a smoke bar, tartare station, cheeses coming out your ears, and lots more. There will then be a served three-course sit-down meal followed by desserts and coffees in the garden. So please arrive hungry!
Again, for sure. We will have selections of bollicine, wines, beers and soft drinks throughout the evening, wine pairings for dinner and Italian cocktails to see us through until bedtime.
We are limited on space at the venue so unfortunately only our family's children are invited to the main event. If you want help organising a babysitter, get in touch.
We do not have a dress code and just want you to be happy and comfortable in whatever you choose. For vibes, she's giving Italian garden party, La Grande Bellezza realness. Even though we will spend time in the garden, the venue is entirely under cover, so don't worry about rain. But the end of May in Rome could be very warm, so bear this mind.
Absolutely. If you have allergies or other food requirements (vegetarian, gluten intolerance etc.), please let us know when you RSVP.
We have chosen Villa Laetitia as our wedding venue partly as it is in central Rome and you will have all the options of a big city to get you around. As such, we are relying on you finding your own way to the venue and home again at the end of the night. For cabs, the most commonly used app in Rome is FreeNow, though uber is also used.
On Friday, you are all welcome for drinks to Angelineria, a bar in Testaccio. And on Sunday, we'll organise a BYO picnic in the Villa Borghese, just off the Piazza del Popolo.
May is fast approaching, so we would be grateful if you could let us know you are coming by February 1st. Let us know whether you can join us by RSVP'ing to paul_lomax@hotmail.co.uk - and don't forget to let us know food requirements for everyone!
Presence over presents! Really: we know flying to Italy is a big commitment, so we don't expect gifts.
