Aman's family is from India and Paul's family is from Scotland and Japan. Somehow they both ended up in San Diego, where they met for the first time in February of 2023. They went for a hike at local coastal lagoon on their first date. Something clicked, and over the months, they got to know each other and connected over their shared values and common goals. In July 2024 they took a trip to Morro Bay on the central coast, and on a foggy morning walk around Morro Rock, Paul popped the question. They are excited to begin the next chapter of their life together. In their spare time, they love to go hiking, cook, try new restaurants, travel, and spend time with their families and their two cats Hawk and Kes.
