Things To Do
There are infinite adventures to be had in these mountains and in Califonia in general! We included a few suggestions below in the area near Bear Valley. Other suggestions for destinations further afield: Napa and Sonoma Valleys for wine tasting, road trip down the 395 to see the Eastern Sierras, Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe, the list could go on... Calaveras Big Trees State Park

This is a must-see, just down the road from the venue. Giant Sequoias are the largest trees in the world. They're huge. You kind of have to see it to believe it.
Moaning Caverns Adventure Park

Cool cave tour. Paul thought the stairs down into the cave were a little sketch :P
Lake Alpine
Lake Alpine, CA 95223
This is a pretty little lake just down the road. Nice for a dip or a little boat ride.
Utica Reservoir
CA
Union and Utica reservoirs are lovely reservoirs surrounded by white granite. Great place to fish, boat, and swim.
