Our favorite place to go for coffee & espresso based drinks! They also serve any drinks in decaf. Soups, grilled cheese sandwiches, scones, muffins, cookies, anything your sweet tooth desires! They also have open pottery from 1pm to close almost every day of the week - - feel free to walk in and start painting, no reservations required!

If you and your significant other are looking for a fancy night out, this is the place to be! Expensive, but well worth the price.

Mamie's Cafe & Homemade
Located about 20 minutes away from Hollidaysburg, this small-town breakfast and lunch joint will have you feeling like you stepped back in time with your favorite people beside you! Known for it's breakfast food (and it's busy crowd on Saturday morning), make sure you get there early! People are always in and out, so seating opens up rather quickly. They stop serving breakfast at 10:00am, and while their lunch options are spectacular...breakfast is where it's at. ;) They close at 2:00pm.
Vineyard Altoona
Located inside the former Wright Elementary School in Altoona is the church that Paul and I attend! If you're not heading home until later Sunday, come worship here! There's no dress code required - - sweatpants are absolutely acceptable. You'll feel like family the minute you walk through the door.
Canoe Creek State Park
If you want to explore the beauty found in central PA, heading to Canoe Creek is the place for you. From hiking trails, natural swimming areas, and a long wooden dock trail, this is the perfect place to escape the busy-ness of the world for the weekend if you have some extra time to spare!
Jean Bonnet Tavern
THE BEST RESTAURANT EVER. The place Paul took me right before he proposed and our fav place to dine, The Jean Bonnet will take you back in time and serve you phenomenal drinks and food while doing so. Ask to sit in the basement or on the patio for the ultimate dining experience.
Greenbean Coffee House
Excellent drip coffee and every frozen, iced, and hot coffee combination you can think of. The Greenbean is an active participant in serving the community of Altoona. We're huge advocates of this place!
