The Sikh Wedding Ceremony

9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Please meet us at the Gazebo Terrace to begin the Milni. Afterward, everyone will head down to the beach to begin the ceremony. The Baraat | A Baraat is the groom’s procession into the wedding ceremony. The Milni | During the Milni, or introductions, we'll celebrate the two families coming together. The Anand Karaj | The Sikh wedding ceremony takes place at a congregational gathering in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib (the holy book). In respect of the religious ceremony, guests will be asked to remove their shoes and cover their heads before taking a seat. Be sure to bring a dupatta (women's scarf) or ramala (bandana) to cover your head. Ramalas will be provided at the event should you need one. Please note, guests will be seated on floor cushions on the ground, with a few chairs available for the elderly.

Our Ceremony + Reception

4:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Our ceremony will take place at the Gazebo Terrace and begin at 4:00 PM, we ask you to please be seated before then. A cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing! Get ready to party!
