Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

"Adventures in Travel" shuttle pickup begins at 2:50 PM in front of the Mimslyn Inn and will return for additional pickups every few minutes until the ceremony at 4pm. When you arrive, the reception hall and bar will be open until the ceremony. Return shuttles from the event will start at the venue at 8:30pm. The travel time to and from the Mimslyn Inn to Stover Hall is less than 5 minutes. Pickups and drop-offs can be provided to and from additional hotels and local AirBnBs. Please communicate with Pam (484-695-1234) if you are not staying at the Mimslyn Inn and would like shuttle service, including the address of your accommodations. A reminder that you may drive your own vehicle to the venue, but if you find you’re not in a position to drive back to where you’re staying, you may take the shuttle home and pick up your car the next day. PLEASE PARK IN THE GRASS, not on the gravel in front of the house or down by the reception hall.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

All guests are invited to attend the Welcome Event on Thursday from 6-10pm at the Meeting House on the Mimslyn Inn property. Inquire at the front desk if you need help finding it. This is a casual, informal event. Come and go as you please.

Who is doing your catering? What are the meal options?

Answer

Our wedding is being catered by Hank's Grille and Catering. The cuisine will be of the Barbecue and Southern persuasion. Dinner will be served buffet-style with two entree options—juniper-marinated grilled chicken and pit-to-plate pork BBQ—and various sides available. 🥗 FOR OUR VEGGIES 🥗 We will provide vegetarian meals upon request. If applicable, please indicate how many vegetarian meals will be needed in your party when you RSVP! 🙏

YES! When you RSVP, please indicate any food allergies or vegetarian meal requests.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress 'code' for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. We plan to have an outdoor ceremony the Stover Hall property, which is directly next to a working farm. We recommend wearing (or bringing along) comfortable shoes for dancing and walking around the property.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We're happy to have kids at our wedding. However, we recommend making alternative care plans for bedtime so that mom and dad can party! 🥳
