Gavin and I first met on Track Tuesday at the Red Rose Track Club (formerly F&M Track Club) in May 2022. We did a few 1k repeats together, during which I paced correctly and Gavin ran way too fast. It's an allegory for our relationship in a way—our energies balance each other out perfectly. Gavin energizes and motivates me, but he also keeps a level head and a very optimistic outlook. I am a cautious person who tends to stick by the rules, but I bring structure and consideration to our life together. I couldn't ask for a better teammate, partner, fiancé, and (soon-to-be) husband in Gavin. - Stephanie
