In German weddings the reception is not just a time to enjoy a good meal, a few speeches, and a bit of dancing. Most German wedding receptions also include a program filled with games, skits, music, and plenty of laughter. The program is usually organized and put on for the couple by their guests so that it is a surprise to them.
