THE WEDDING WILL TAKE PLACE! The COVID-numbers in Frankfurt are quite high though. For that reason, the city has ordered strict rules for weddings, which we must adhere to: PROOF OF VACCINATION, RECOVERY OR TEST: We will have a check-in point at the entrance where you will need to show proof of valid vaccination, recovery in the last 6 months, or a negative test (not older than 24 hours, no self-tests). There are many rapid test sites in Frankfurt. Rapid tests will cost around 30€ if you are not a resident of Germany. Here is one option: https://covidzentrum.de/en/corona-test-frankfurt/ MASKS: Masks are mandatory for all wedding guests (exception: children under 6 years). DIE HOCHZEIT FINDET STATT! Aufgrund der Hohen Inzidenzzahlen in Frankfurt, gibt es verschärfte Regelungen, an die wir uns halten müssen: 3G-NACHWEIS. Wir werden einen Check-In am Eingang haben und bei allen kontrollieren, dass ein Nachweis für gültige Impfung, Genesung in den letzten 6 Monaten oder Testung (nicht älter als 24 Stunden, keine Selbsttests) vorhanden ist. Schnellteststellen gibt es in Frankfurt viele und die Tests sind für deutsche Bürger kostenlos. Dress Code│ Kleiderordnung

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear dresses or pantsuits, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. The wedding ceremony and reception will both be indoors at the same location - High Heels and similar footwear is therefore possible although not mandatory. ;) ─── Die Kleiderordnung ist Halbformell bis Abendgardarobe. Für Frauen sind Kleider oder Hosenanzüge erwünscht und für Männer Anzug mit Krawatte oder leichte Sakkos. Trauung und Feier finden am gleichen Ort und im Inneren statt - hohe Absätze sind daher möglich, aber nicht verpflichtend. ;)

If you're not familiar with the weather in Germany it can be unpredictable, especially in the autumn! The temperature could be as low as in the 50's (10-15 Celsius) so be sure to plan for cooler temperatures and possibly rain.

We recommend using sites such as out hotel.info, airbnb.com, booking.com ecc. Even if accomodations near the main train station are often very cheap, we advise against booking those ─ even at night there is always a lot going on and the red light district is right around the corner. Accomodations in the north or west of Frankfurt are the closest to the wedding location. Unterkünfte

Wir empfehlen Seiten wie hotel.de, airbnb.de, booking.com o.ä. zu nutzen. Von Unterkünften nahe dem Bahnhof raten wir eher ab, auch wenn sie oft sehr günstig sind ¬─ auch nachts ist dort immer viel los und das Rotlichtviertel ist ums Eck. Unterkünfte im Norden und Westen Frankfurts sind dem Standort der Hochzeitsfeierlichkeiten am nächsten. Ein relativ günstiges Beispiel mit unterschiedlichen Belegungsmöglichkeiten ist das A&O Frankfurt Ostend: www.aohostels.com/de/frankfurt/frankfurt-ostend/ Wer finanziell eher knapp bemessen ist und nichts dagegen hat eventuell auf einem Sofa zu schlafen, kann sich bei Clio Weinheimer melden. We warmly invite you to bring along a plus one but would ask that you let us know ahead of time if you are planning to do so. Because of regulations concerning the pandemic, available space at the venue, etc., we need to be able to check if we have room to welcome additional guests. Childcare│ Kinderbetreuung

We will offer childcare during the ceremony. The children's rooms will continue to be available to the children and parents during the rest of the wedding, but without any supervision on our part. ─── Während der Trauung werden wir Kinderbetreuung anbieten. Die Kinderräume stehen den Kindern und Eltern während dem Rest der Hochzeit weiterhin zur Verfügung, jedoch ohne Betreuung unsererseits.
