The couple first met back in early 2017. Originally from Memphis, TN, Brittney had recently moved to Buffalo, NY for a job opportunity, which is Paul's hometown. She was new to the area and wanted some extra security at her townhome, so she enlisted the support of a local security company. Little did she know, a very handsome, charming, young man would arrive at her doorstep later that week to install her home security system! They talked about their interests and quickly learned that they had quite a bit in common! Later that year, Paul and Brittney reconnected when she moved to a new apartment and needed yet another security system! At this time, both she and Paul now had dogs and decided to get their dogs together for a play date! After talking for a couple of weeks, they went out on their first date on December 3rd to Dave & Buster's--true kids at heart! The couple has been inseparable ever since!

During 4th of July weekend in Summer 2019, Paul wanted to make that year's Independence Day holiday one that Brittney would never forget! He notified both his family and hers ahead of time so that they could arrange to be in Buffalo for the holiday, thus being present for the big weekend ahead! The day started off with a nice, relaxing visit to Niagara Falls with Brittney and her parents. That evening, Paul whisked Brittney away to a romantic dinner at one of Buffalo's premiere steakhouses! After dinner, he then proceeded to escort her to the hotel room that was included with the meal. A blindfolded Brittney had no idea what was in store for her on the other side of the room! Paul led her into the room and once she was centered within the heart-shape on the floor made of rose petals, he then instructed her to open her eyes! Brittney opened her eyes to find Paul down on one knee, asking her the age-old question, "Will you marry me?" She, of course, said, "Yes!" and that was all she wrote! It was a magical moment that the couple will truly cherish forever!
