A casual restaurant with really really top notch food. Super flavorful and local!
Jade Bar
Hands down the best bar in Phoenix for drinks with a view. It's particularly beautiful at sunset (and happy hour)
Uptown Farmers' Market
Open Saturday mornings, they have a huge variety of food trucks, produce, knick knacks and other local goods!
Piestewa Peak
A short but steep hike up the third tallest peak in Phoenix! If you go at a decent pace it only takes about 45 minutes round trip. Parking can be a challenge though so we recommend going earlier in the day if you can.
Camelback Mountain
Camelback is the backdrop for our reception and the highest and most well-known peak in Phoenix. Hiking Camelback via Echo Canyon is kind of a rite of passage--we recommend getting there early as it can get crowded, and bring lots of water! It is 2.5 miles roundtrip, 1420 ft elevation gain
Tom's Thumb
Tom's Thumb is Kevin's favorite land feature to point out while driving. It may look small from a distance but is pretty impressive up close. The trail is 4 miles with about 1200 ft of elevation gain.
Taliesin West
The beautiful home-turned-museum of Frank Lloyd Wright, an American architect who has designed hundreds of buildings, eight of which have been designated UNESCO World Heritage sites. They do a lovely guided tour but do require advance reservations.
Desert Botanical Garden
A beautiful garden full of every variety of cacti you can imagine. They often have other exhibits (including Chihuly glass exhibits!) on display within the garden, as well as occasional night events
Musical Instrument Museum
This is the largest museum of its kind in the world! It has over 15,000 musical instruments from all over the world and throughout history.
