For guests flying into the area, San Diego International Airport (SAN) is the nearest major airport. It is located approximately 30 miles (about 35–40 minutes by car) from the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, depending on traffic. We recommend allowing extra travel time during peak hours. Rental cars, ride-share services, and private shuttles are all available at the airport.

For friends and family members flying from Mexico, we recommend booking flights into Tijuana International Airport and using the Cross Border Xpress (CBX), a convenient pedestrian bridge that connects directly to San Diego. CBX offers affordable ticket options, including family packages, and significantly reduces border wait times. It's a fast, safe, and budget-friendly option—perfect for wedding travel!

For those flying in from Arizona and Colorado, we recommend Palomar Airport in Carlsbad. It’s the closest airport to our wedding location—about 10 miles from Park Hyatt Aviara—and makes getting around the area easy and convenient!
