Are any of the events kid friendly?

Answer

While Thursday & Friday are adults only, kids of all ages are more than welcome to attend the Lowcountry BBQ on Saturday.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All the Friday wedding events will take place at Lowndes Grove. Weather permitting, the ceremony & cocktail hour will be outside on grass. The reception will be outdoors as well but tented. March is a beautiful time of year to visit Charleston as it tends to be warm (without the humidity). It can cool down at night so ladies we do recommend you bring a light shawl if you tend to run cold!

What is the best means for transportation?

Answer

We will be providing transportation on Friday night, only, from Hotel Bennett on King Street to and from the venue. For all other events, we recommend Uber & Lyft. Please note, especially at night, wait times can be a little longer than usual. The city will also be at high occupancy due to the annual Bridge Run. We recommend checking about 20 minutes before you know you want to leave to check on the timing. If you do opt to rent a car for the weekend but are not staying at a hotel, please take in to consideration that street parking in downtown Charleston can be a bit of a pain. While the streets are charming, they tend to be more narrow and spaces limited.
