Christina is my sister & my built-in best friend. We have enough embarassing stories from our chidhood to fill a lengthy book, yet it was also magical. We made fairy houses & stick forts, and we played mermaids & cops and robbers in North Carolina. We explored California together, hiking in the foothills, going to the beach, & Disneyland. I even followed her to college at Baylor, getting to meet up for lunch regularly, finding her in the crowd at football games/concerts, & running to her house to get advice about a boy (suprise, it was Tacker). I don't know how I got so lucky to have Christina as my sister. When put together, we are a perfect storm, so brace yourselves when we hit the dance floor. There's nobody else I would have rather grown up with, and get to do life with today but you!
Liam Cler

I met Liam at Baylor when we lived across the hall from each other during our freshman year. What started off as a polite wave in the hallway quickly turned into a friendship that was a constant source of laughter and shenanigans. Liam and I lived together during some pivotal years of our lives and his advice and support are something that I hold as the most valuable aspect of our friendship. Needless to say, I'm not entirely sure if I could be where I am today if it wasn't for Liam and the ways in which he poured into me and filled my life with joy. I consider him to be a true brother and am honored to have him stand beside me as my Best Man!
Sam Leander

As Christina's longtime best friend, Sam has walked alongside my life as my other big sister. From 2007 on, Sam and her entire family are main characters in our family. Getting to do life with Sam has been an incredible joy & adventure. Sam is bright and vibrant, giving life color and fun. She and Christina tag-team so well, playing what I'll call, "the wise cop fun cop," act intermittently, whether they know it or not. Since moving to college, Sam has been on the other end of many phone calls giving me advice, love, & support. Having her by my side feels so special to me, after getting to be with her as a bridesmaid when she married Jared. No matter where Christina and I find ourselves, Sam is an enduring sister, always bridging distance while pouring light & love into our relationship.
Dylan Gould

My friendship with Dylan started when I began mentoring him during our time together at Baylor. We quickly became friends over the course of late nights studying in the library and a shared sense of style that often caused people to refer to us as twins. What I didn't realize at the time was that he would soon become a mentor to me and cheer me on as I graduated, prepared to start a new life in Denver, and got engaged. I can truly say that the ways in which he has walked alongside me have been nothing but encouraging and I couldn't think of a better hype-man to celebrate with!
Madison McClendon

Madison and I are one of the rare success stories of being "set up" as friends. Unknowingly, Tacker and our dear friend Liam plotted to connect us, and just like that, here we are! We got to live together during our senior year of college, sharing all of our final moments at Baylor together, & envisioning what the future of "post-grad" life would be like. Madison and I are both in seminary now, and it is so amazing to see how her ministry in Dallas is growing. Madison is a deeply caring friend who will go above and beyond to serve where she feels called, and I am so proud to get to be her friend! She truly knows what it means to live a life guided by a deep sense of purpose, & I look forward to having her by my side through our marriages and ministries.
Hayden Holman

I first got to know Hayden through our community group in college and we bonded over shared passions for snowboarding, camping, and a love of the outdoors. His positive outlook has taught me how to recognize life's beauty and his kind intentions have been a continued blessing in my life. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to grow into a deeper friendship with him and I have counted him as a trusted source of advice. He truly knows how to make others feel valued & included and I look forward to walking through Liz and I's marriage with him by my side.

It was once said, "I wish I could buy stock in Lizzy's future," and that is a statement I stand by. I would. I feel like our friendship was plopped in my life so naturally, I can't even place when exactly it began or how we got here. Life is just so much richer because of her presence. Lizzy walks on air, and that's just the best way to describe it. Lizzy's brand of intentionality & conscientiousness is unique, and not at all accidental, it is developed over many years of growth and a loving relationship with God. She gives of herself with a bountiful heart, yet a full sense of self. Lizzy has been part of such special chapters of our relationship, in helping Tacker plan & execute the engagement, and I am so honored she will be by my side to cheer us on in our marriage!

During the course of our friendship, Conner has always been a source of good humor and thoughtful comments. We grew to be closer when we lived together during the summer that Liz and I got engaged. During those months, he was a constant fount of support and kept me grounded and focused during the planning phase leading up to our Winter Park proposal. His easy-going nature, keen intellect, and willingness to serve as a sounding board made him the perfect friend to walk through those months with me. I am so honored that he will be standing by my side to continue cheering on Liz and I into our future together!
Abby Hopkins

Abby is the first friend I made in seminary, in the middle of the pandemic she messaged me via Zoom (that statement will age us later in life for sure). We became fast friends, getting to know each other months before she even moved to Denver. Abby quickly swooped into my life and I am forever better because of it. She gives out of a full cup, filled by her rich relationship with God which outpours into all facets of her life. She is an incredible person & I can't imagine my life without her. It makes me emotional to think that we get to build our ministries and lives in Denver together. So grateful to have Abby by my side, to me, she is the literal embodiment of my prayers for community in Denver! She's also the only reason I survived taking Hebrew as a summer intensive! אתה נפלא!

The friendship that I have been able to develop with André has been one of the most unexpected blessings over the past year. We became fast friends back in January of 2021 and he quickly became someone that I relied on during Liz and I's engagement season. He accompanied me on at least a few adventures to the mountains to help search for the perfect location for me to propose to Liz. His wisdom and zeal have poured into my life in more ways than one and I couldn’t imagine a wedding without him standing with me in celebration.
Ally Whelan

When I met Ally, we both mutually felt we were what could only be described as, "kindred spirits". Ally has been an incredibly devoted and intentional friend to me for many years now. She brings out the creative spark in those who are lucky enough to be in her presence. Ally is a thoughtful storyteller, with raw wit & piercing self awareness matched with a generous heart & pure spirit. Throughout college, we walked through life together closely, becoming the people we are today through a lot of late nights, spontaneous trips, and picnics. I have missed Ally dearly since moving away, so much so that we decided she should move to Colorado! She has been by my side these past years, & she will be by my side not only on the day of my wedding but everyday from now, till "I do", & beyond!

Emily is magnetic, plain and simple. She invites everyone around her into her world, and it's the place to be, y'all. Perfect example: I sat on her living room floor the week she moved to Denver & she literally had no furniture, food, or window blinds, yet I felt perfectly cozy & at home. That's Emily's presence right there for ya! In our friendship, she is the definition of "rejoicing with those who rejoice and mourning with those who mourn." Nobody celebrates like Emily, but nobody comforts like Emily - she's a double threat. I cannot say enough about how much more fun this party is going to be with her in it! I also cannot say enough about how much more my life has been enriched because of Emily's presence.

Since moving to Denver, I've been blessed to know Will and call him my friend. We first got to know each other when we became roommates at the Huron House in the Fall of 2021. We quickly bonded over our many shared similarities and a mutual interest in coffee which only helped to strengthen our friendship. Will has always been a constant source of joy and support while speaking into my life in more ways than one. He is one of the most invested and intentional men that I know, and I look forward to him standing by my side on the wedding day!
