We have joked that the dress code for the ceremony is "hiking chic"! But, seriously, we encourage everyone to wear clothes that are appropriate for a hike: comfortable, easy to move in, and appropriate for warm weather. Most importantly, wear comfortable, sturdy shoes.
Plan on summer casual attire. We are allowing plenty of time between the ceremony and reception to allow guests to return to their lodging, rest, freshen up, and change into their wedding clothes. It is an outdoor reception during a typically warm time of year, but temps will cool as the sun sets so bring a sweat, wrap, shawl, or jacket. Sun sets just before 7:30pm that day.
We are not registered at any stores. We are fully stocked in our household, and we've recently had to purge and consolidate many of our things. As a couple we value experiences more than "stuff", and we are trying to adhere to that as we enter this new chapter of our lives together. We will have to save a bit before we can consider a honeymoon at a yet to be determined destination. For those that would like to contribute, we have set up a honeymoon fund on the "Resistry" tab of this website.
