Our wedding events will take place in the Silver Spring and College Park, Maryland area, just north of Washington, DC. The reception venue is St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Silver Spring and the ceremony University of Maryland Memorial Chapel in College Park, approximately 15–20 minutes apart by car. For convenience, we recommend staying in the Silver Spring / White Oak area, where several nearby hotel options are available, including DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC Silver Spring, Courtyard by Marriott Silver Spring North/White Oak, Residence Inn by Marriott Silver Spring, and Hilton Garden Inn Silver Spring White Oak. These hotels are centrally located between the ceremony sites and provide easy access to major roads. Guests traveling by air should plan to fly into Reagan National Airport (DCA - the closest), Baltimore/Washington International (BWI), or Washington Dulles (IAD - the furthest). Renting a car or using rideshare services is strongly recommended for flexibility during the weekend. Please allow extra travel time for DC-area traffic, especially during peak hours. Additional event logistics will be shared closer to the wedding date.
