FAQs

Question

What is the last day to RSVP?

Answer

We want folks to make their travel accommodations in advance, as spots fill up in LA fairly quickly. It's important for us to track attendance numbers in advance so we can coordinate with catering and reserve restaurants and other activities prior to your arrival. Please plan to RSVP by April 30th!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You're invited, because you are an important part of our lives! We are trying to keep the invite list as intimate as possible. Unless noted, your invitation is simply for you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We know you love your kids and fur babies--we love them, too! We want to eliminate as many stressors as possible during the event, so we are asking you to make arrangements for your children and pets at home.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know in advance if you have a food allergy. We will do our best to work with caterers so you can enjoy the food and event!

Question

When should I plan to travel to LA?

Answer

We will be hosting events beginning on Friday, November 1. There are special invites for various events over the course of the weekend. If you have the time off and want to explore the city, we recommend arriving on Thursday, October 31 or Friday, November 1. Our ceremony and event will run late into the evening (10:00 pm) on Sunday, November 3. We recommend booking a return flight for Monday, November 4 so you can enjoy our special day.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We will be wearing blazers and nice slacks for the ceremony (no need to break out the tuxes and fancy gowns). Patrick and Scott are asking you to dress in business casual attire (dress shirts, nice slacks, nice blouses, skirts, and/or dresses work). Make sure you're comfortable!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Since we have way too many things, we set up a honeymoon fund via this website--check out the "Registry" link at the top of this page. Patrick and Scott will be taking in the sun on a relaxing Hawaiian vacation following the wedding. Your gifts will go directly to certain vacation experiences.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We recommend folks travel together in an Uber or Lyft, as there will be beer and wine at the event. If you do plan to drive, there is limited parking in the neighborhood, so plan accordingly.
