Is the ceremony indoors?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all take place in the Grand Rapids Room. It is inside and air-conditioned. Savannah Rapids Pavilion is just a misleading venue name.

What's up with that giant hurricane heading your way?

Answer

Hurricane Dorian is a threat to the coastal regions of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Augusta is far enough from the coast to have a sunny outlook for our wedding weekend.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

If you indicated on your RSVP that you were taking the shuttle bus to the wedding, the bus will leave the Doubletree at 1:45 pm on Saturday. It should leave the Savannah Rapids Pavilion for return to the Doubletree at 8:45 pm. There is just one trip each way.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive around 2:15. It will be difficult to "sneak in" once the processional begins at 2:30... Don't be late!
