FAQs

Question

What is the weather like in May?

Answer

Typically sunny with daytime highs in the 70s and cooler evenings in the 50s. A light jacket or wrap is a good idea once the sun goes down.

Question

Is there parking/transportation?

Answer

Parking at the hotel is limited. If you are not staying on the property, we kindly ask that you park at the bottom of the hill on Washington St. From there, you are welcome to enjoy a short walk up the hill. Ride shares (Uber/Lyft) can be spotty in Julian, so we recommend driving or carpooling. The town is also right down the hill.

Question

Where should I stay? Are there hotel blocks or on-site rooms?

Answer

On-site rooms are reserved for close friends and family. Check the travel section for some hotel recommendations.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes! Otherwise, we’re keeping the guest list close and cozy.

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

A mix of seasonal California favorites — including meat and vegetarian options. Come hungry.

Question

Are there events before/after the wedding day?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be hosting a casual welcome gathering at Julian Beer Co. the evening before. Details are on the “Schedule” page.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! Kids are welcome at our wedding. We’ll have space for them to run around and enjoy the day. Just keep in mind the ceremony and dinner will be a little more structured, so pack snacks, activities, or anything else that helps your little ones feel comfortable.

Question

What should I know about the venue?

Answer

Our venue has some gravel and natural rock areas. We recommend wearing wedges, block heels, or flats to stay comfortable throughout the celebration. Stilettos may sink into the ground — we want you dancing, not wobbling!

Question

Can we bring our dogs?

Answer

We love your pups, but the hotel isn’t allowing dogs as part of our wedding‑weekend contract. Thank you for understanding!
