Jill and I bonded over our mutual distaste for middle school gym class. Our friendship grew deeper over the years as we tackled the highs and lows of high school, college, and life after college together. We call each other best of friends. Jill and I may seem very different, but that is because we compliment each other as best friends usually do. I love Jill's warm, friendly, outgoing personality. She is the Peanut Butter to my Jelly, and I could not ask for a better M.O.H.!

Rob Mason

Best Man

I first met Rob when I started working at Cantigny when I was 16. We quickly became great friends doing everything together from playing golf, basketball, video games, or going to Blackhawks games. Eventually we would live together where we spent majority of our time getting into trouble and having some good laughs. Rob has since moved to Florida but we still see each other a few times a year, and it is always like old times. I would do anything for this guy and I know he would do the same for me. I couldn’t imagine having a better best man.

Katy Tullar

Katy and I became great friends through our boys, Pat and Matt, and we always have a blast together! Over the last six years of our friendship, we have made many memories together at Blackhawks games, on tropical vacations, or just playing games and eating pizza on a week night. Katy has such a fun personality, and she is an amazing friend to have!

Matt Tullar

Groomsman

Matt and I also met at Cantigny. Over time I have had a wonderful opportunity of working side by side with him while I run the restaurant and he runs the shop. As team “Grip It and Sip It”, Matt helps me with my golf game and I help him with his drinking game. Matt, Katy, Monica and I have the best time going on vacations, grabbing beers at Rock Bottom, or seeing movies together. It was an honor to be a groomsman in his wedding and now I get the opportunity to have him stand with me at mine.

Chrissy Fahrforth

Bridesmaid

Chrissy and I became fast and fierce friends working together in the Tee-Time Reservations Office at Cantigny. We would have the best time scrolling through Pinterest and prank calling Pat and Keith upstairs in the lounge! Chrissy and I have so many things in common, it's uncanny. We connect on anything and everything from TV shows that no one else watches, to our obsession with Just Dance. Chrissy is such a sweet and thoughtful person, and I am honored to call her my friend.

Keith Fahrforth

Groomsman

I met Keith when he started working at Cantigny. We were both servers in the lounge and always seemed to find ourselves in the busiest of situations, especially on Father’s Day. After those long days together, we would spend our nights watching the Hawks dominate at Buffalo Wild Wings, or grab some IPA’s and get rowdy at the house. Since then we have moved on to playing golf all summer and sipping some nice bourbon and hanging out in the evenings on the weekends. I was lucky enough to see Keith and Chrissy’s relationship develop from the begin, and to eventually stand by Keith’s side at their wedding. Now I am privileged to have Keith stand next to me in mine.

Jessica Duquette

Jess is Pat's younger sister, and she is one of the most kindhearted people I have ever met. She is so easy going and engaging, and she makes everyone she meets feel special and included. I absolutely love spending time with her, and I am so thankful that we have grown closer as friends. Jess has an incredible amount of strength and determination, which I love her so much for. I am so lucky to get such a sweet sister!

Alex Duquette

Groomsman

Growing up with this guy was a blast. We had so many fun experiences playing sports together, going fishing and hunting, or playing video games. We were always very competitive with each other, whether it be always lining up against each other in our family football games, or challenging each other at Mario cart, which he always won. This helped us become not just great brothers but best friends as well. Alex is always looking for something new to get into, which means I can always count on him helping me out with a difficult project. I love this guy so much.

Hillary Levergood

Hillary is Jill's younger sister, and I like to think of her as my pseudo younger sister, as well. I have known Hillary since she was young, but as she grew up, we developed our own friendship. That friendship has really grown over the past few years. In fact, I consider her my kindred spirit. Together we have enjoyed playing games, watching Pretty Little Liars, and reading through the entire Harry Potter series. We have been to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter together, and I was there when she got married. I am so blessed to have Hillary standing up in my wedding.

Jack Ahern

When I first met Jack, we got along almost instantly. I enjoy watching Bulls games and talking sports with him when he visits. He always has the latest and greatest recommendations on new video games or tv shows to watch. Jack has a great sense of humor, and him and I are the only ones who really know what a pleasure it is to live with Monica. I am so glad to have Jack as one of my groomsman, and even happier to be able to call him my brother.

Emily Papaeliou

Emily and I met at Cantigny, and we became close when I started working in the restaurant with her. In the hustle and bustle of serving, Emily and I always share so many laughs and have so much fun together! Emily is not only super fun, but she is also a genuine friend. Emily and I have a similar outlook on life--work hard, shop more! I love Emily, and I am thrilled to have her as not only a bridesmaid, but a friend!

Patrick Wellick

Groomsman

I have known Pat longest of all the groomsman, aside from my brother. Growing up we lived across the street from each other but didn’t hang out as much as he was a few years younger than I. It wasn’t really until during and after our college years when we became best of friends. I get to hang out with Pat almost daily now, going to the gym, grilling together, and staying up until 4am playing old school video games. Pat is like a brother to me and I can’t imagine daily life without him.

Sarah Kopecky (middle), Lauren Bevan (right), & Genevieve Unzicker (left) are my favorite little cousins. Sarah is a freshman in High School, Lauren is in seventh grade, and Genevieve is in fifth grade. I've had the great pleasure of seeing them grow up into such amazing girls! I am so honored to have them all stand up in our wedding!
