This ski resort is one of our favorite places here in Utah! They host an annual Oktoberfest with games, and activities throughout the resort. Make sure you check out their site for prices and tickets!
Take a scenic drive from the beginning of this road at Brighton Ski Resort into Park City, UT. There are beautiful views of the valley along this narrow road that takes you up and over the mountains. The drive is winding and cliffy so those prone to motion sickness or fear of heights be aware!
Deer Valley Ski Resort is one of our favorite date spots! Each hotel has a beautiful bar/restaurant to try and lots of hiking to take advantage of. Take the funicular to the top of the St Regis to enjoy a wonderful cocktail and some amazing views of the mountain with its outdoor seating. The Stein Eriksen Lodge and Montage are other 5-star resorts that are perfect for sight-seeing and enjoying a drink.
Not sure if people know this, but Utah has a huge history with dinosaurs and fossils. The museum here has a huge display of all types of fossils found in the area. We love the views of the city from here, it was actual a potential venue for Patrick and Laura.
Drive across the land bridge over the Great Salt Lake to get to this scenic island that has tons of wild bison and other wild life roaming free. Check the AllTrails app for hiking trails but bugs can be bad depending on the weather - luckily you can see plenty of beautiful views and wildlife from the comfort of your car as well.
Such an amazing place for breakfast! Nestled in on of the canyons this diner has amazing food and even more amazing views!
This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants! Crazy to find great sushi in the middle of nowhere Utah but they fly the fish in fresh daily. They don't take reservations so be there early or be ready to wait a few hours - while you wait, feel free to grab a cocktail or two at the bar next door (The Postal Office) or bar hop along Main Street. We like Bodega for margaritas or the speakeasy beneath it (The Rest) for old fashioneds but there are plenty of other bars/restaurants in the area to choose from.
