We met through mutual friends on a family vacation. We had run in the same circle for years, but had never met until Memorial Day weekend of 2014. Nothing had come from the weekend other than a new friendship. However, Patrick's friends soon began to drop subtle hints like giving me a business card with Patricks number on the back, or calling him from my phone so he had my number (soo not so subtle I guess). Fast forward a month later, I came back from a missions trip with 8 puppies (to my parents surprise lol) and I asked Patrick if he wanted one. Shortly after he came over to see the puppies. After that day, we spent most of our time together for the rest of the summer. We have made so many memories since then and can't wait to celebrate this new chapter with our friends and family. Patrick never got a puppy, but 7 years later, this boy is getting a WIFE!!
