Patrick actually gave me a tour at KLS when I arrived for my interview, but I guess we were both a little preoccupied that day. My second week of work coincided with the annual National Sales Party. I was on the fence about going since I didn't know that many people but figured hey, free snacks. A mutual friend introduced us that night and we started talking. We just clicked. We had so much to talk about two hours passed without either of us noticing. And the rest, as they say, is history!

Labor Day weekend was our first chance to break in the camping equipment we bought at the beginning of the summer. During the 2nd day of our hike, Patrick suggested we take a 5 minute break at a lookout point after a pretty strenuous uphill trek. I watched him stare out at the view for a good 10 minutes while he mustered up the courage to propose. I was pretty oblivious to the whole thing until he was suddenly kneeling on the ground in front of me with a ring. My first response was "Seriously?!" followed by a resounding "YES".
